I am very disappointed. Just opened my jar of organic sauerkraut and it was mushy. I'm going to throw it out

This is great Sauerkraut! My Dad use to make homemade Sauerkraut and it taste just like his. Brings back great memories!

Recently disappointed

Have purchased this many times from Costco and loved it. Never had a problem until recently. The last two purchases have had the same issue. Shortly after opening, I pull out of the fridge and notice a white layer of something on top. It’s hard to tell if it’s just dried out or if it’s gone bad. Either way, it wasn’t worth the risk so I’ve thrown a whole jar out twice now. Unfortunately I don’t plan to buy it again.
